Commemorating the people and animals of the Steinhart Aquarium

As an artist I wanted to dedicate some paintings of historic images of the California Academy of Sciences Steinhart Aquarium, my mission is to capture and commemorate the vibrant life and stories of the people and animals that defined this era. Through my art, I strive to preserve the essence of the aquarium's rich history, highlighting the intricate relationships between the devoted staff, curious visitors, and the diverse array of marine and terrestrial species. By bringing these moments to life on canvas, I aim to honor the legacy of the Steinhart Aquarium and inspire future generations to appreciate and protect our natural world. A portion of proceeds goes to funding this institution.
